The spaces

Four spaces, and most weddings use two or three

A wedding here is rarely one room. The lawn takes the ceremony, the hall takes the dining, and the smaller spaces carry the haldi, the mehendi and the cocktail evening.

Wedding venue capacities at Gold Coins Club and Resort
Space Seated Floating Suits
Main Lawn 400 1,000 Weddings, Receptions, Large corporate events
Poolside Lawn 800 2,000 Weddings, Large receptions, Cocktail evenings
Patio Lawn 250 350 Haldi, Mehendi, Intimate weddings
Banquet Hall 300 500 Weddings, Conferences, Birthday parties
Glass House 100 150 Baby showers, Intimate functions, Private dinners

Putting it together

How couples usually combine the spaces

  • Muhurtham on the lawn, dining in the hall

The most common plan here. The ceremony runs on the Main Lawn in the morning light, and guests move into the air-conditioned Banquet Hall to eat in comfortable batches.

  • Mehendi and haldi on the Patio Lawn

A smaller, shadier space for the daytime functions, so the main lawn stays untouched while the reception setup goes up.

  • Cocktails and sangeet by the pool

The Poolside takes a standing crowd for an evening with a DJ, and it reads completely differently on camera from the lawn.

  • Everything indoors

A monsoon date or an afternoon function that needs air conditioning runs entirely in the Banquet Hall, which is covered and has power backup.

What's permitted

The permissions, written down

These are the questions every family asks on the first call, and they are the reason a venue gets ruled out. Here is where we stand on each of them.

  • In-house catering Permitted
  • Outside decorators Permitted
  • DJ and live music Permitted
  • Bar and alcohol service Permitted
  • Mandap setup and baraat entry Permitted
  • Green rooms Permitted
  • 24/7 power backup Permitted
  • Wheelchair access Permitted
  • Ample free parking Permitted

A few practical notes that go with the ticks. Outside caterers are allotted a kitchen or cooking area, and the gas, water and cleaning arrangements are agreed in advance — a royalty or kitchen usage charge may apply. Outside decorators are welcome, and we ask for the design plan and vendor details ahead of time so setup and dismantling can be scheduled, and so anything involving rigging, fire or heavy structures gets checked. All material has to be cleared after the event.

A DJ is permitted both in the hall and on the lawns. Outdoor music stops at the local sound curfew, after which the celebration usually continues indoors at a lower volume — the exact cut-off varies by season and event type, so confirm it for your date. Alcohol is permitted and there is a bar on the property. There is power backup on site; tell us the total load if your decor and DJ setup is heavy.

Catering and pricing

Our kitchen, or your family's cook

Both work here. In-house catering means one vendor, one invoice and a menu tasting before the date. Outside catering means your community cuisine, cooked by the people who always cook it.

In-house catering, indicative

  • Vegetarian — from ₹1,199 per plate + GST
  • Non-vegetarian — from ₹1,599 per plate + GST

A starting point, not your final quote. The rate moves with the menu, the number of live counters, the season and your guest count. Your written proposal carries the real number.

  • Pure vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus, both available
  • Jain, no-onion-no-garlic and South Indian menus arranged when told in advance
  • Allergies and diabetic-friendly requests built into the menu, told to us in writing
  • Outside caterers permitted, with the kitchen area and schedule allotted in advance
  • A signed booking with an advance is what blocks the date — we do not hold dates verbally

Accommodation for guests

59 rooms, on the same campus

The reason out-of-town families choose a resort over a hall. Nobody drives back to a hotel at midnight, and the morning functions start on time because everyone is already here.

  • Six room types, from a standalone heritage cottage to a suite with its own plunge pool
  • Room blocks for a wedding party are held against an advance and released if not confirmed
  • A room for the bride and groom to get ready, with rooms nearby for family and the makeup team
  • Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out at 12:00 noon, minimum check-in age 18
  • Resident guests can use the pool, the lawns and the games during their stay

Full-property availability in peak wedding season goes early. Speak to the team well ahead if you want to block a large number of rooms.

Real event proof

Photographs from weddings held here

We would rather show you our own weddings than stock photography, so this gallery is being shot and rebuilt. Each frame below is the brief for the picture that belongs in it.

  • Main lawn set for an evening wedding reception, stage lit, round tables laid across the grass
  • Guests dancing on the lawn during a daytime celebration
  • Sangeet night with the stage, dance floor and lighting on the lawn
  • The resort entrance gate on arrival day

Ask us for the portfolio

We are not going to invent case studies or borrow someone else's wedding. If you want to see what a wedding at this property really looks like, message us and we will send photographs from recent functions, and where the family is happy to be contacted, we will connect you. Come and walk the lawn as well — most couples decide on the site visit, not on the website.

How to reach

Wedding questions

What families ask before they book

If yours is not answered here, message us on WhatsApp and you will get a straight answer, not a brochure.

How many guests can you host for a wedding?
We have five event spaces. The Main Lawn takes 400 seated and 1,000 floating, the Poolside Lawn 800 seated and 2,000 floating, the Patio Lawn 250 seated and 350 floating, the Banquet Hall 300 seated and 500 floating, and the Glass House 100 seated and 150 floating. Most weddings use a combination — for example a lawn for the muhurtham and the hall for dining.
Can we bring our own decorator?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own decorator, and we can also recommend our partner decorators if you would like tried-and-tested options. Mandap setup and baraat entry are both permitted. Please share the design plan and vendor details in advance so we can schedule setup and dismantling times.
Can we bring an outside caterer for the wedding?
As a rule, all catering is done by our in-house kitchen — outside caterers are considered only in very rare cases, after a discussion with management. Our wedding catering is priced per plate at ₹1,199 for veg and ₹1,599 for non-veg, + 5% GST, and Jain and custom menus can be planned with prior notice.
Is there a green room for the bride and groom?
Yes, we have two green rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in, with space for the makeup team. Larger functions often also block guest rooms nearby for family. Tell us at the time of booking from what time you need the green rooms.
Until what time can the DJ play?
A DJ is permitted, both in the banquet hall and on the lawns, and can play until 10:30 PM. Outside alcohol is not permitted, but our licensed bar (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM) serves events; where corkage applies, it is charged at 40% of MRP.
Do you allow pre-wedding photoshoots?
Yes, we host pre-wedding shoots, and the pool, lawns, patio and Glass House give you a good range of backdrops. Shoots are booked as a separate slot so that you are not sharing the space with a function. Enquire with your preferred date and the team will confirm availability and charges.
How much advance is needed to hold a wedding date?
A 50% advance is what blocks a wedding date — we do not hold dates on a verbal confirmation. Rooms for the wedding party can be blocked against the same booking. The balance and payment schedule are set out in your proposal, with the final settlement around the function day.
Can we book the resort for a baby shower or a small private function?
Yes, smaller private functions like baby showers, engagements and milestone birthdays work beautifully here. The Glass House suits 100 to 150 guests, and the Patio Lawn is a good step up if your list grows. Custom menus are priced per head — share your headcount and date and we will send a proposal.
