Coming from Silk Board
Central Silk Board is the junction every Bangalore driver plans around, where the Outer Ring Road meets Hosur Road under a flyover and a metro line that has been under construction for years. It is also, usefully, the exact point where the Electronic City Elevated Expressway begins. Gold Coins Club & Resort is about twenty-two kilometres south of the junction, and once you are up the ramp the drive is one clean, uninterrupted run to the Electronic City Phase II exit, then east on Huskur Road to Andapura. For anyone living in BTM Layout, Madiwala, Bommanahalli or the streets feeding into Silk Board, that matters more than the raw distance. The hard part of the journey is the first kilometre; everything after it is easy. Time the departure to clear Silk Board before the queues build and the whole trip can take thirty-five minutes. The resort has been on its landscaped grounds since 1994 and offers a large swimming pool, rain dance, lawns, indoor and outdoor games, a banquet hall, restaurant, bar and 59 rooms, which is a very different proposition to anything within the junction's immediate radius.

Families and teams
Why it works for both families and teams from Silk Board
If you live near Silk Board, distance is measured in delays rather than kilometres, and this trip is unusual because the elevated expressway removes almost all of them once you are on it. What waits at the other end is a full-size pool and rain dance, lawns and games for children, and a banquet hall and restaurant for a family lunch or a team day. With 59 rooms on site, an evening event does not have to end with everyone driving back through the junction at night.
